Educational
Therapy

Serving diverse learners, we utilize diagnostic approaches to support students with learning differences, build intensive, individualized programs for remedial instruction, and support gifted students along their academic journey.

  • We help our students use their strengths to bridge their challenges.

    We do this by building a strategic approach to learning.

    The SB21c team is skilled at identifying and working with academic challenges in a concentrated effort to understand the student’s unique learning needs. Individualized support addresses a variety of learning, social, emotional, and behavioral differences.

    Review, interpretation and feedback of psycho-educational assessments is available by a board certified educational therapist, with follow-up implementation of recommendations.

Homeschool Support

Homeschool support for individual and/or or small group learning pods with interactive and personalized instruction to meet each student’s needs.

  • Our instruction is designed to provide direct instruction for accredited curriculums.

Counseling & Parent Coaching

This service provides counseling and coaching by certified specialists to help children, teens, and families with social and academic challenges as well as providing behavioral programs to help your family with their needs.

  • Parent coaching will focus on developing your self-awareness as a parent, improving communication and connection with your child, and fostering a positive and supportive home environment.

    You will learn practical strategies for responding to your child's needs, managing stress and emotions, and building resilience in both yourself and your child.

Test Prep

Using strategically crafted test prep programs that focus on academic content while integrating test-taking strategies, our goal with test prep is for students to feel prepared and calm when test day arrives.

Academic
Guidance & Tutoring

With a coaching component, we offer Individualized tutoring for students of all ages with a customized plan to meet each student’s goals and needs, integrating study skills into core content courses, allowing for a dynamic learning experience to meet each student’s goals.

  • Academic Management combines important principles of executive functioning support, with high-quality subject area expertise. SB21c learning specialists are content-area experts who are able to support students in all subjects at all levels including Honors and AP, and college level.

Signature SB21c Start-up Program

SBC21c Start-Up is often an integral part of the college process. This is a discovery process to identify a student’s underlying talents, passion, and areas of strengths and cultivate them into highly focused areas of learning and skill building, resulting in a dynamic project.

  • This learning process gives natural direction to students’ college choices, with the completed project often being included in college applications.

Consulting

Our college planning package for students in grades 9-12 provides close-knit support during high school to develop an exceptional college profile.

  • We offer a full array of college consulting services, including how to build first-rate college applications, boosting your test scores, preparing for interviews, gaining access to internship opportunities, writing superb essays, elevating your extracurricular profile, and creating award-winning visual, audio or video projects to meet portfolio requirements.

    Our SB21c team works with students in strategic sessions, exploring and articulating personal goals and interests to break down the college process into actionable steps. We specialize in individualized college planning, preparation, and placement of students with learning differences.
